PACS vendor DR Systems will introduce new features for its Unity RIS/PACS network at next month's Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) conference in New Orleans.
New features include Patient Link, which is designed to consolidate hospital and imaging center patient records without requiring creation of an enterprise master patient index, according to the San Diego-based firm.
DR Systems said it would also highlight data migration capabilities, as well as the accessibility of its PACS software from electronic medical records and health information system Web portals.
