Digital storage developer Isilon Systems of Seattle said that the Austin Radiological Association (ARA) has deployed its Isilon IQ storage system for storing digital mammography images.
The Austin, TX-based ARA runs 11 digital imaging centers, serves as a PACS hosting facility for more than five of the largest hospitals in central Texas, and processes more than 1 million patient procedures per year, according to Isilon.
In addition to the Isilon IQ product, the ARA has also deployed Isilon's SnapShotIQ software for data protection and Isilon's SyncIQ software for asynchronous data replication, the company said.
