French software firm ETIAM has introduced a new version of its WiIIB worklist broker.
The new version allows users to employ a Web interface to create a study order and a patient encounter when a message has not been received from the information system, according to the Rennes-based firm. Users can then forward the information to the information system and to another destination such as a PACS network, ETIAM said.
In addition, the new version allows integration of modalities that don't support DICOM worklist, employing a mechanism that automatically generates bar codes, ETIAM said.
