Radiology informatics and device firm Eastman Kodak Health Group of Rochester, NY, said it will highlight its CareStream digital dashboard application at next week's Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) conference in New Orleans.
The software, which will be shown as a work-in-progress, is designed to allow the management of the company's CareStream RIS, PACS, and information management products from a single desktop, according to Kodak.
Also on the roster for Kodak is a new software option for its CareStream Enterprise Information Management (EIM) product, the Watch Clinician Patient Repository Access.
The new option offers healthcare providers more convenient access to patients' medical imaging exams while facilitating integration of images with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, the company said.
The new viewing software, available now worldwide, provides access to images through a Web-based content browser that allows users to view patient files archived on systems managed by Kodak's EIM platform.
