UltraRad rolls out new UltraGateway

PACS vendor UltraRad has released version 3.0 of its UltraGateway DICOM gateway.

The new releases includes an interface that allows for remote configuring of the gateway, enhancements to manage multiple concurrent users and large databases, as well as new control wizards, according to the West Berlin, NJ-based firm. UltraRad said it has also incorporated DICOM-compliant 128-bit encryption, increased JPEG 2000 support, DICOM storage commitment, simultaneous inbound and outbound DICOM streams, and autorouting features.
