Canadian radiology informatics developer RamSoft has introduced Gateway Router, an enterprise DICOM image routing and archiving offering.
Designed to provide secure Internet data transmission, Gateway Router is based on RamSoft's DICOM and SQL engine, according to the Toronto-based firm. Other features include online data archiving, automatic prior exam routing, transport layer security (TLS) encryption, and security audit trails, RamSoft said.
It also includes scheduled routing functionality, automatic image compression, and the ability to edit demographics. In addition, users can send and receive from an unlimited number of devices simultaneously and employ automatic window/level and filtering, RamSoft said.
