Eastman Kodak Health Group of Rochester, NY, has officially launched a new digital dashboard featured designed to allow system administrators to monitor their PACS networks.
Shown as a work-in-progress at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) meeting earlier this year in New Orleans, the company's Carestream Digital Dashboard software produces metrics for factors such as equipment performance, storage utilization, and user volumes. Users can verify that devices are operating and communicating with the network without leaving their desks, can track concurrent users of a device, and can track the number of read and unread studies.
The software supports Kodak's Carestream PACS and Carestream Information Management Solutions products. The next version of the software will support monitoring of Kodak's Carestream RIS software as well.
