GE vet tapped to lead ECI

Teleradiology services provider Emergency Cardiac Imaging has hired GE Healthcare veteran Paul Burns as its CEO.

Burns was national sales manager of cardiovascular CT at the Chalfont St. Giles, U.K., company. ECI's previous CEO, Dr. David Dowe, will become the firm's chairman of the board.

ECI offers postprocessing and interpretations of coronary CT angiography exams for emergency departments 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
