Medical graphics device and application developer Matrox Graphics of Dorval, Quebec, has introduced the Equinox Series of graphics extension technology for operating room (OR) planning and control, visualization, and connectivity.
Working on standard commercial PC computing station platforms, the Equinox Series can interface with a single PC computing station, which can then be networked and securely located outside the OR, according to the company. Data and image information can be routed to Equinox Series stations using a standard Microsoft Windows environment that simplifies distribution and control.
