Being a PACS administrator can be tough. But having the right attitude can help harried administrators deal with the stress in a Zen-like fashion, according to a presentation at the annual meeting of the Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) in Providence, RI.
The most important skill, as determined by a survey of PACS administrators on the ClubPACS Web site, is communication, according to Keith Skaer of BJC HealthCare in St. Louis.
