Cedara Software has released its I-Response workstation, which is designed to evaluate, assess, and monitor the effect of cancer therapy over time using data from multiple modalities.
First shown at the 2006 RSNA meeting in Chicago, I-Response provides tools for standard anatomical measurements used for tumor assessment, and can analyze both PET/CT and MR-based diffusion-weighted imaging, according to the Mississauga, Ontario-based unit of Merge Healthcare.
In other news, Merge announced that it has started shipments of Merge Ortho, a digital workstation for orthopedic specialists. The software includes tools for making measurements, implant selection, automated template placement and manipulation, surgical planning tools, image archiving, and Web distribution.
