Carolinas Healthcare System of Charlotte, NC, has chosen Data Distributing as its supplier for DICOM CD burning systems. The company's DICOM CD Station is a bundled CD burning system comprised that includes a disc publishing system from Rimage of Minneapolis, with thermal imprinting capabilities, IHE tested application software, and embedded DICOM viewing software.
DICOM CD Station resides on a PACS network, retrieving DICOM-based patient images and burning them to disc for referring physicians and patients.
