PACS vendor IMCO Technologies has made a sale of its PACS software to an oncology group in Arkansas.
Highlands Oncology Group of Fayetteville will purchase IMCO's software and install it on the computer hardware of its choice.
IMCO calls the configuration a "virtual platform," which the company said has the ability to run multiple operating systems on a single physical server, at the same time, each one running its own applications. This results in savings in hardware and administration, the company said.
