NCD Medical unveils eWIX

NCD Medical of Eastlake, OH, has introduced a new Web-based PACS service called eWIX (electronic worldwide information exchange).

For a monthly fee based on storage and the number of users requiring access, the Web repository service features an HL7 interface for HIS and RIS communications and support for the JPEG 2000 compression algorithm.
