EBM Technologies of Taipei, Taiwan, is making the final arrangements for an installation of its software in China.
The company's EBM PACS Data Center will be used by Shanghai United Hospital Medical Image System to connect 23 of the system's hospitals. The hospitals involved have 19,000 beds and discharge 668,000 people per year.
EBM said it plans to begin installing the software shortly, with completion of the project for all of the system's images and information in two years.
