Last chance to cram for CIIP exam

Dear AuntMinnie Member,

It's crunch time. At least, it is if you're a PACS administrator taking next week's Certified Imaging Informatics Professional (CIIP) exam.

The CIIP exam is being held for the first time at testing facilities across the U.S. and Canada on September 28. Those who pass the test will join an elite group of PACS professionals who have had their knowledge and experience certified through a rigorous testing process.

But the novelty of the CIIP exam means that there aren't that many study tools available for the test yet -- and that's where AuntMinnie.com can help. Our new Online College of PACS Administration includes three multimedia presentations featuring PACS educator Herman Oosterwijk of OTech in Aubrey, TX.

Mr. Oosterwijk provides you with an overview of three key areas on the CIIP exam: importing/exporting radiology studies, networking and network management, and enterprise image management. What's more, the content in each presentation has been specifically tailored to match what's expected to be on the CIIP test.

You can view the prerecorded presentations at your leisure, as often as you like. Just click here to get started.

When you're done, head over to our PACS Digital Community, where we're also featuring an article by Mr. Oosterwijk comparing the CIIP certification with another PACS administrator program, run by the PACS Administrators Registry and Certification Association (PARCA).

Learn about the finer points of each program by clicking here ... and good luck to those of you taking next week's CIIP exam!
