Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) of Boston is expanding its use of OR-Dashboard from healthcare information technology integrator LiveData in its plans for future operating room design, construction, and renovation.
The Cambridge, MA company's OR-Dashboard is live in two operating rooms now, with three more scheduled this fall, and has been implemented in one postanesthesia care unit recovery room.
LiveData OR-Dashboard presents information about a patient and surgical case to the OR team in real-time, integrating data from patient records, administrative systems, physiological monitors, and medical devices. The dashboard's large, flat-panel display is visible from anywhere in the OR and is updated automatically throughout the perioperative process.
