Graphics developer Matrox Graphics has introduced Matrox Onyx, a fanless companion board, to its Matrox Equinox Series.
Matrox Onyx is designed to reproduce the Montreal-based company's Equinox medical display and imaging capabilities onto displays next to a host PC, allowing operating room staff to plan and monitor surgeries outside of the OR.
Onyx also is designed to replicate images from OR displays connected to Equinox on displays in a control room to view OR display information and enhance intraoperative communication.
