(Booth 1316) Cedara Software will feature its C4 integration platform and development tools for software developers at the 2007 RSNA conference.
Released in May, Cedara Clinical Control Center (C4) is middleware that provides for integration of applications from multiple vendors into a single host such as a RIS/PACS, according to the Mississauga, Ontario-based firm. OEMs can use C4 as a plug-in model for integration to shorten development cycles, Cedara said.
Cedara will show C4 integration with the company's I-Reach Web-based image distribution package, allowing I-Reach to launch within various C4-enabled plug-ins, according to the firm. The company said it will also show a number of its clinical applications as C4-enabled, including I-ReadMammo, I-Response, OrthoWorks ProPlanner, PET/CT, B-CAD, and Biotronics3D.
In other news, Cedara will discuss its development tools, including its Open Eyes programming model. Available in Java and .NET languages, this platform includes connectivity, visualization, and printing components that can be used for new development or as extensions to existing applications, Cedara said.
