(Booth 5741) CoActiv will emphasize its Paperless-PACS concept, which adds paperless capability to its Exam-PACS line, in its RSNA booth.

With the new paperless features, all necessary paperwork is scanned and attached to digital exams for review in both CoActiv's Exam-Console and Exam-Viewer windows, according to the Ridgefield, CT-based firm. Built-in software in Exam-PACS supports scanning with any TWAIN-compliant single or multisheet scanner, CoActiv said. The scanning feature is standard with new Exam-PACS installations, and is available as a free upgrade to existing users.

In other introductions, CoActiv is highlighting automatic color coding in both its search and worklist windows on Exam-PACS. With this feature, all pending exams as well as studies acquired in the last six hours are displayed in green. Colors are changed as exams age, with progressive updates at 12, 18, and 24 hours, according to the firm. Colors and time cycles can also be individually configured.
