With WebPax VS, institutions can share images with physicians over the Web without the need for client software, according to the Durham, NC-based vendor. DICOM image data is uploaded electronically over a secure, HIPAA-compliant connection from customer sites to a remote storage facility owned by HeartIT.
Pricing for WebPax VS begins at $500 per month for 10 scans per week and unlimited e-mails to referring physicians, HeartIT said.
