(Booth 4129) Philips Medical Systems of Andover, MA, will demonstrate versions 3.6 and 4.1 of its iSite PACS line of PACS software at this year's RSNA meeting.
iSite Radiology features integrated advanced visualization functionality for volumetric image visualization, manipulation, and interpretation, according to the vendor. It also includes integrated mammography workstation functionality, Philips said.
On the advanced visualization side, iSite Volume Vision is an application for iSite Radiology that delivers segmentation and classification tools, including freestyle movie generation and capture and advanced review protocols for reviewing complex cases. It also includes support for maximum intensity projections (MIPs), multiplanar reformats (MPRs), and 3D volume rendering, as well as the merging and color mapping of CT and MR datasets. The software will be available in the U.S. and internationally in the first quarter of 2008.
In other works-in-progress, look for Philips to highlight iSite Colonography and iSite Pulmonary Embolism applications in its RSNA exhibit.
