Designed for digital radiology applications that require color imaging, Nio Color 3 MP is suitable for 3D PACS, 3D echocardiography, ultrasound, orthopedic imaging, computer-aided detection (CAD), image fusion, nuclear medicine, and PET applications, according to the Kortrijk, Belgium-based vendor.

Barco will also highlight a new version of its MediCal QAWeb online quality assurance service for PACS monitors. The new service provides automated DICOM calibration, quality assurance, display asset management, problem solving, and reporting, according to the firm. It's compatible with all Barco Nio and Coronis display systems.
