PACS technology developer Foresight Imaging of Lowell, MA, has installed 35 of its TIMS DICOM systems in Panama, the company reported.
The systems are for non-DICOM to DICOM conversion and PACS connectivity. The installation includes several Panama Ministry of Health hospitals, and was brokered by TIMS reseller Reserma of Panama City. The deal is part of a PACS rollout in Panama, and TIMS was installed with a variety of modalities, including fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, and nuclear medicine. At all 35 installations, TIMS was connected to Agfa HealthCare's IMPAX PACS.
