Healthcare IT and advanced visualization developer Merge Healthcare is adding to its product repertoire.
The Milwaukee-based company is introducing Merge TeleRead teleradiology software and the Consult PreReads service offering.
Consult PreRead is designed to provide a preliminary report of a medical imaging study (prepared and revised by two different offshore radiologists) producing a detailed report for a U.S. radiologist to consult and utilize for a final diagnosis.
Merge plans to begin offering both products in the first quarter of 2008.
