McKesson gets LA install

Healthcare information management firm McKesson was selected by Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles to implement its Horizon Medical Imaging PACS and Horizon Cardiology cardiovascular image and information management system (CVIS).

Horizon Cardiology is a single-platform system for all cardiovascular information, from cardiac cath, echocardiography, and hemodynamics to patient information from other sources, according to McKesson.

The Good Samaritan Hospital cardiology department performs 1,500 interventions and 2,000 peripheral cases per year.
