Storage firm EMC has completed an installation of its information infrastructure for Wellmont Health System.
The installation included 542 TB of storage with the EMC Symmetrix, EMC Celerra, EMC Clariion, and EMC Centera systems.
With more than 13 hospitals in Tennessee, Virginia, and Kentucky, Wellmont expects the central archive to provide rapid access to accommodate the organization's increasing demand for archival storage, according to EMC of Hopkinton, MA.
