Archive developer and medical informatics company Candelis of Irvine, CA, is introducing a new suite of RIS/PACS products and has announced new deals at this week's RSNA 2007 meeting in Chicago.
The new suite includes the ImageGrid PACS Web Viewer, ImageGrid PACS Mammography Web Viewer, and ImageGrid RIS with HL7 support, as well as the ImageGrid DICOM Encapsulation feature, which permits paperless operations, according to Candelis.
In addition to its enhanced product line, the company announced new installations of its ImageGrid PACS in five regional hospitals in New York, Washington, and Maine. The hospitals include A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital of Fulton, NY; Cuba Memorial Hospital of Cuba, NY; Redington-Fairview General Hospital of Skowhegan, ME; Virginia Mason Medical Center of Seattle; and St. Francis Heart Center of Roslyn, NY.
And finally, Candelis reported that Sony Medical Systems of Park Ridge, NJ, selected Candelis as a system integrator for the Sony FilmStation dry film imager. Candelis will offer the diagnostic-quality printer to support its ImageGrid RIS/PACS products and meet clients' need for film.
