DeJarnette readies dyseCT VMS

DeJarnette Research Systems will release its dyseCT VMS CT workflow engine in February 2008.

The VMS (Virtual Machine Server) engine can support multiple instances of dyseCT on a single hardware platform, according to the Towson, MD-based vendor. Hosted on a Microsoft Windows 2003 server and a higher-performance hardware platform, dyseCT VMS can support up to four CT scanners, DeJarnette said. VMS with four installed licenses will cost $40,000 plus installation fees.

In other product news, DeJarnette is working on version 4.0 of its dyseCT software. The new release, scheduled to be available in the early spring of 2008, will support all cross-sectional modalities and will be available on both single-modality and VMS multimodality platforms, according to the firm. It will also include a Web-based Breakup Verification Interface, a manual interface that allows technologists to monitor the performance of the breakup algorithm and make any necessary corrections.

Also, DeJarnette said that it has added support for the Centera application programmer interface (API) software from Hopkinton, MA-based EMC in its xDL cross-enterprise document librarian software. The software interface will be available to customers in early 2008.
