(Booth 4054) Infinitt will spotlight its Xelis 3D software suite for Infinitt PACS at the 2008 RSNA meeting.
The Xelis software line includes Xelis Colon CT, Xelis Cardiac, Xelis Lung, and Xelis Fusion. Embedded on Infinitt PACS, the software employs volume rendering and other postprocessing techniques to contribute CT colonography, cardiac vessel analysis, and calcium scoring, as well as pulmonary nodule detection on thoracic CT studies, according to the Phillipsburg, NJ-based vendor. Web-based access is provided on all Xelis applications, featuring instant data loading and handling of large-volume datasets, Infinitt said.
Xelis Colon will be available in October, while Xelis Cardiac is slated for a December release. Infinitt is scheduled to roll out Xelis Lung in January 2009 and Xelis Fusion in February 2009.
Infinitt also will direct attention to its multimodality PACS package for digital mammography. Introduced earlier this year, Infinitt Mammo PACS can display computed radiography, full-field digital mammography, ultrasound, MRI, and other modalities along with prior images, according to the vendor.
