Agfa installs Impax HeartStation

Agfa HealthCare has installed its Impax HeartStation electrocardiogram (ECG) management system at the National Heart Centre in Singapore.

The HeartStation ECG is designed to automate the processing and storage of ECGs, and the vendor-neutral platform supports most legacy and new ECG manufacturers, according to the Mortsel, Belgium-based vendor.

The National Heart Centre has a capacity of 186 beds and manages more than 9,000 inpatient admissions and completes more than 80,000 outpatient consultations, 75,000 cardiac investigative procedures, and 1,700 surgical operations annually.
