Cardiovascular software developer Lumedx of Oakland, CA, and patient monitoring firm Mennen Medical of Tel Aviv, Israel, have signed a deal to integrate their products to offer a combined package for cardiac cath labs.
Under the terms of the deal, the companies will combine Lumedx's CardioStar cardiovascular information system and PACS software with Mennen's cath lab hardware, including its new Horizon XVu hemodynamic system, its patient monitoring products, and electrophysiology recording systems into one integrated system for cath labs.
The companies believe the collaboration will help heart centers perform cath lab procedures, improve their workflow, and manage continuous clinical patient data from the holding area throughout the procedure room and into the recovery room.
