RIS/PACS vendor Infinitt North America of Phillipsburg, NJ, is now offering offsite disaster recovery (DR) services to all of its customers.
Infinitt Smart-Net DR Option 1 will keep a synchronized copy of images along with a copy of the entire database. Infinitt uses the copies to construct a replacement system to restore a site to full operation within a few days.
Infinitt Smart-Net DR Option 2 maintains a duplicate system, including hardware and software, that is synchronized with the system at the customer's site. This system can be relocated to the customer's site within hours.
Infinitt maintains a secure data center with blade server and virtualization technology to support its Web-based, application service provider (ASP) PACS.
