Healthcare information systems firm McKesson of Atlanta has installed its Horizon PACS software at a North Carolina community hospital.
Maria Parham Medical Center in Henderson chose the system as part of its larger IT strategy; the software allows the hospital to share access to patient images and reports with its remote care facilities, according to McKesson.
The medical center is also using McKesson's Paragon HIS and document imaging system for reviewing and coding electronic patient records.
