Software developer DatCard Systems of Irvine, CA, plans to feature its new PacsCube software 5.0 at next month's Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) annual meeting in Charlotte, NC.
PacsCube is designed to record patient images and reports to a CD or DVD while automatically labeling the disk with facility and patient demographics.
New features of version 5.0 include the ability to create DICOM encrypted disks, a dashboard within the iRecall Web interface, and a DCS DICOM viewer that does not require the user to download any software to view images from the disk.
