PACS vendor Amicas of Boston is launching two new transactional modules in its revenue cycle-management software line at the Radiology Business Management Association (RBMA) meeting in Orlando, FL, later this week.
The first module, Amicas Payer Services, is designed to provide insurance eligibility and claims and coding compliance management services to help healthcare facilities reduce claim denials, increase collections, and improve cash flow.
The second module, Amicas Patient Services, automates patient collections with print and mail services for communicating with patients, online statement review, return mail automation, and an online payment portal for use by patients and practices.
The company has signed four clients for Amicas Patient Services: DRA Imaging in Poughkeepsie, NY; Quantum Medical in Salem, VA; Radiology Associates of West Pasco in New Port Richey, FL; and Shady Grove Radiological Consultants in Montgomery County, MD.
