Merge debuts eFilm Archive software

Healthcare IT and advanced visualization developer Merge Healthcare of Milwaukee has added archiving capabilities to its eFilm PACS software line.

eFilm Archive gives imaging centers, specialty clinics, and rural hospitals an economical way to increase their storage capacity for medical images, according to the company. It also supports image routing.

eFilm Archive includes software, server hardware, onsite installation and training, and one year of support. Because it uses the same hardware and software configurations as Merge's hosted RIS/PACS products, it also enables customers to add applications such as RIS modules, disaster recovery, and billing.
