Radiology informatics firm Aycan Medical Systems of Rochester, NY, has partnered with MedQ of Dallas to deliver RIS-PACS software to a Minnesota radiology practice.
The two firms installed the system at Rural Radiology of Bemidji. Aycan combined its aycan store, a scalable archiving and distribution system, with MedQ's Q/ris 3000 software. The system also includes Aycan's DICOM viewer, OsiriXPro, which allows customers to conduct reviews and postprocessing of multimodality and multidimensional images with fast image upload times, Aycan said.
