Imaging informatics firm Viztek of Jacksonville, FL, has won a contract with a Boston hospital for its PACS system.
Franciscan Hospital for Children (FHC) in Boston has chosen Viztek's Opal-Rad PACS to support its remote reading group, Boston Radiology Associates at Boston Medical Center, which interprets all of FHC's exams. Radiologists will log into the Opal-Rad PACS system through a customized FHC Web portal and have remote access to the application and its multimodality archive, according to Viztek.
