Display firm NDS Surgical Imaging has acquired wireless high-definition video technology from TZero Technologies.
The technology, which will be deployed in NDS' new medical-grade ZeroWire product line, will feature low latency for real-time surgical video, according to the San Jose, CA-based firm. NDS expects the acquisition will allow the company to develop an array of wireless offerings for surgical, endoscopy, and interventional suites.
NDS also said that it has formed a wireless engineering team.
