Removable disk storage developer ProStor Systems has introduced release 2 of its InfiniVault-DICOM storage system.
Release 2 includes a number of new features, such as remote replication functionality for sending copies of data to an InfiniVault system at a geographically separate site, according to the Boulder, CO-based vendor. This provides a second disaster recovery option to the system's current capability, which involves automatically making copies of data and transporting the firm's RDX disk cartridges to an offsite location, ProStor said.
Other release 2 features include read/write vaults, dual Ethernet adaptors, and capacity reclamation, ProStor said.
