Agfa HealthCare of Greenville, SC, has expanded the capabilities of its Impax Cardiovascular (Impax CV) with software for cardiology outcomes management from Cedaron Medical, the company announced.
Impax CV now includes Cedaron's CardiacCare software for cardiology outcomes data collection and national database reporting. The combination allows users to collect procedural information and import the required data to the American College of Cardiology National Cardiovascular Data Registry, the Society for Thoracic Surgeons National Database, and other state and provincial registries and databases.
In other Agfa news, the company has signed a license agreement with Acacia Research subsidiary Hospital Systems. The agreement, which covers a portfolio of PACS patents, resolves the dispute between Hospital Systems and Agfa in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, according to Acacia of Newport Beach, CA.
