Imaging informatics firm Viztek of Jacksonville, FL, has won a New York installation of its Opal-Ortho PACS software and U-Arm DR digital radiography system.
North Shore Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine in Smithtown, NY, chose Viztek to deal with its volume of 70 x-ray images daily. Viztek's Opal-Rad PACS and RIS suite includes Web-based architecture and image streaming, the company said.
