Offsite image storage firm Sourcecorp Radiology of Louisville, KY, has won a contract with a California healthcare services provider.
NorthBay Healthcare of Fairfield has chosen Sourcecorp Radiology's Total Archiving Program (TAP) for management and digitalization of hard-copy medical images following the hospital group's conversion to digital imaging, Sourcecorp said.
NorthBay Healthcare comprises several facilities in Solano County, including two hospitals and two freestanding imaging centers offering digital medical imaging. The group has eliminated all hard-copy storage. Using TAP, it can request a study from the Sourcecorp warehouse through a secure Web portal. The image file is pulled, scanned, and sent securely to the requesting facility, Sourcecorp said.
