Teleradiology services provider Optimal Reading Services of Homewood, AL, has changed its name to Optimal IMX.
The new name better reflects the company's expanded mission and its larger pool of radiological talent, advanced technology, and technologically enhanced processes that are now available, according to Optimal.
The name also reflects the company's recent growth and the investment made earlier this summer by Health Evolution Partners Growth Fund of San Francisco, an investment fund run by former healthcare IT czar Dr. David Brailer, Ph.D. Optimal IMX has customers in more than 30 states.
