Image compression firm Accusoft Pegasus of Tampa, FL, has upgraded its PICTools software development kits (SDKs) for enhanced image compression and decompression and use with the Solaris x86 platform.
PICTools now is available on Solaris x86 for both 32-bit and 64-bit application development.
The PICTools SDKs also are optimized for Windows, Linux, Solaris SPARC, and IBM AIX. New features for JPEG 2000 are also included in this upgrade.
