Advanced visualization firm Vital Images and Swedish PACS vendor Sectra have expanded their partnership.
Under the new relationship, Sectra of Linköping will offer the Minneapolis-based vendor's Vitrea Enterprise Suite as an additional option for integration with Sectra's PACS platform. As a result, physicians will be able to gain Web-based access to a platform of advanced applications, including cardiac, vascular, neuro, virtual colonoscopy, and other functionality via the PACS interface, the companies said.
