Healthcare IT firm McKesson has added Iowa Health System as a client for its Horizon Medical Imaging PACS offering.
The Atlanta-based firm is deploying the PACS at 34 metropolitan hospitals and clinics throughout Iowa. The PACS is now live in five of the seven regions served by Iowa Health System, with the remaining two (Cedar Rapids and Dubuque) expected by the end of 2009, McKesson said.
