Archiving services provider InSite One has formed a nationwide multimedia and multienterprise health information exchange (HIE) for its 600 U.S. clients.
The new cross-enterprise sharing features support the exchange of medical data between disparate clinical systems within a hospital, as well as between hospitals within an HIE, according to the Wallingford, CT-based firm. InSite One will formally introduce the new services at next week's 2009 RSNA meeting in Chicago.
