TeamHealth Teleradiology scores contracts

TeamHealth Teleradiology of Knoxville, TN, has signed contracts to provide teleradiology services for two groups in South Carolina and Illinois.

An agreement signed with UpState Carolina Radiology in Spartanburg, SC, will allow the company to provide services for four area hospitals. TeamHealth will also deliver teleradiology services to Lakeland Radiologists, which has multiple locations throughout East Central Illinois.

The new contracts are slated to begin in early 2010, the company said. TeamHealth Teleradiology is a division of TeamHealth.
